Question: What is the interpretation of the Son of Man in Ezekiel 2:1-3?
“Son of man”, in this case is God speaking to Ezekiel!
He is being seconded into service for Almighty God; who is sending him to Israel; “the rebellious people” see v.3.
This must be understood in the context of their vows seen in Deuteronomy and elsewhere in their history; and summed up in the book of Malachi!
As is shown in the New Testament, Jesus was sent to them finally, (and died for them on Calvary); I.E. (the Son of the Vineyard Owner, Matt. 21: 33–46)!
